oatmeal oatmeal oatmeal.

If you're hair is extremely oily and greasy one day, take some oatmeal and leave it in during your shower~ In combination with conditioner, of course. You can also use it as a facial of sorts.

In order to do so, follow these steps~

  1. pour a handful of organic oatmeal, with no additives, and squeeze it in your fist under running water. Apply the milky, foggy looking water onto your face/hair, and the oats as well.
  2. (hair) rub it into your scalp~ it's fantastic for dandruff. (face) scrub it into your face~ but don't scrub too hard. you don't want to break your capillaries and have little red blotches on your face.
  3. (hair) wash it out well, or you will look like you have lice. (face) rinse it off gently with warm water, and follow with moisturizer, as this keeps the moisturizer in.
The reason oatmeal works so well is because it absorbs the oil from your face/hair into the oats, therefore if you are feeling particularly oily one day, you can use this as a remedy. It works very well for acne prone skin.

If you'd like to make the face wash a mask, add some natural honey into it, and let it sit for about ten minutes.

jessie's make up tip of the day: highlight the high points of your face! it'll make your face look brighter, and help you to look more awake. You can use a white eye shadow or eye liner, perhaps even a light colored concealer as a substitute if you don't have a highlighter. Draw an arrow around the Cs of your eyes (aka around your temples,) draw a line on your brow bone, the inner corners of your eyes, you cupids bow, the bridge of your nose, and in a triangle underneath your eyes, as well as the center of your chin, and the middle of your forehead. Make sure you blend it, otherwise you will look like a crazy qurl who doesn't know anything about make up.

to begin~

Alright so, I decided to make a blog dedicated to what inspires me, so to speak. As vain and shallow as it sounds, beauty and self improvement/empowerment inspire me. I pride myself in the most, for the part, for loving myself. I will post a beauty tip, such as hair, fashion, or make up tip, daily, if possible. I will probably write a few posts about songs that inspire me at the moment, as well as releasing some of the songs I write to the public. Hell, maybe even I'll start drawing again. But, in a nutshell, I hope to draw inspiration and to fill out my ideas, so to speak, on this blog. Although I doubt many personal things are going to worm their way in, I may post some things, such as how I feel about myself ascetically, my current diet, my work outs, examples of things that happen with friends, and among other things on here. Some people may think that it's stupid, but I think that it'll be fun, even if I'm the only person reading it.

and for those of you wondering, 예뻐 (yeppeo), pronouced yeh-po, is the Korean word for pretty. As some may know, I love the Korean culture, and the language. Therefore my blog posts may have a Korean word as the title, which also helps me with learning my Hangul. See? You guys learn some of a foreign language, and teach myself; therefore it works well on both sides.

Well, that's basically all I needed to say.
